Police officer Norito, accompanied by his brother Shinji, a folklorist, travel to a small village deep in the mountains in order to investigate a series of suspicious deaths. The village chief, Yoshiomi, a striking man also serving as a Shinto priest, offers them a place to stay. However, within this estate, lies a secret.
